The vast majority of travel advice generally focuses on flights
airports and airlines, hotels, budgets, various travel destinations, etc. They may not save you as much money as most travel tips, but they are invaluable when traveling. Especially if you have a presentation or business meeting to spend the next day.
Eraser – you may already know this tip. To remove the chewing gum from hair (next to the cut), clothing, or shoes, freeze it with ice cubes and then break it when it hardens. Do you know how to remove the ring around the neck spots? Apply shampoo to the hair and spread it around the neck. They are therefore also suitable for skin oil.
Do you want to wash your laundry in the sink but the hotel doesn’t have laundry to dry?
Hang them in the bathroom with the lights on. You will be dry in the morning. To dry faster, turn on the heat lamp (but don’t put clothes under or too close!). Would you like to free your room from flies but do not have a bug spray? Use a hairspray instead. And if you really think ahead, take a detergent in a plastic sandwich bag (but NOT in your hand luggage) and a small spray bottle. If your clothes need to be “refreshed”, you can spray the detergent on the obvious places (under the arms, on the front, etc.) and then rinse and dry as shown here.
If you are afraid of a hotel room or a cruise cabin with legionnaire’s spores, immediately run a hot shower (with the bathroom door open) for 5 minutes and leave the room. It will disperse all possible spores. Money-saving tip: Most people know that if you forget a toothbrush or need suitable toiletries, ask the front desk before you go out to buy something. Many hotels offer free toothpaste, deodorant, combs, razors, etc. One last piece of advice that could save you money. Buy a foldable cooler and store it in your suitcase.
If you arrive at your hotel and there is no fridge in the room
(or it is charged extra), fill it with ice and you can keep food and drinks for days. Really helps reduce the bars and restaurants tab if you can buy a beer for less than $ 1 in a pack of 6 for $ 2.75 (plus tip) in a living room.
These tips are useful when you need them, but not what you would normally think of. So read this article over and over again. One day when you need help with this, you will probably remember it by mistake.
